Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gediminas Kunigelis started the match with the kick off. Jokūbas Butnorius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 6 minutes into the match, Vaivoriai's Stasys Bielskis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Algirdas Poderis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vygandas Čižas got free with Algirdas Poderis in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vanagiskiai's Algirdas Poderis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Vanagiskiai from getting a goal against them. Remigijus Palšis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Algirdas Poderis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Stasys Bielskis in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Algirdas Poderis, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Vanagiskiai getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Linas Kauspadas hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Remigijus Palšis put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Algirdas Poderis. When Remigijus Palšis came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Vaivoriai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigijus Palšis couldn't finish the play. Stasys Bielskis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vanagiskiai's Algirdas Poderis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Vanagiskiai from getting a goal against them. With his leg Algirdas Poderis managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Vaivoriai's Stasys Bielskis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 37th minute Stasys Bielskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algirdas Poderis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Vaivoriai were awarded a corner. Vaidotas Jovaiša went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Vaivoriai's Jokūbas Butnorius to a score. 2-0 in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Algitas Jakniūnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Gediminas Kunigelis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vanagiskiai's supporters rose to their feet, but Gediminas Kunigelis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidijus Žiogas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stasys Bielskis was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vygandas Čižas in the 52nd minute of play forced Vanagiskiai's goalkeeper Algirdas Poderis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Jokūbas Butnorius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Algirdas Poderis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaivoriai's Vygandas Čižas got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Algirdas Poderis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Audrius Jakus during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Audrius Jakus kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Remigijus Palšis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Algirdas Poderis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigijus Palšis, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Jokūbas Butnorius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Algirdas Poderis having to make a save. If Stasys Bielskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Algirdas Poderis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vygandas Čižas in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Vaivoriai booed when Vanagiskiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Linas Kauspadas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vanagiskiai's Algirdas Poderis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasys Bielskis in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Audrius Jakus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Vaivoriai getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Vygandas Čižas hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Liudvikas Uselis got free with Ovidijus Žiogas in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Vaivoriai's Vygandas Čižas got a free kick in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Vanagiskiai's goal looked a bit too open when Remigijus Palšis came free, but Algirdas Poderis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Audrius Jakus hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Algirdas Poderis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stasys Bielskis went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Remigijus Palšis struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Algirdas Poderis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vaivoriai. After a rather tough play, Vanagiskiai's Linas Kauspadas got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 96th minute, Liudvikas Uselis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
