A collision led to FC Kolnyany getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Sikstas Poškus hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaldas Mikalajūnas got free with Martynas Varanauskas in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Plaschken FC's Audrius Tamkus got a free kick in the 8th minute. When FC Kolnyany's Algimantas Jaugėla in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. FC Kolnyany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plaschken FC the free kick. Plaschken FC's Rimas Taujanskas was substituted for Eigirdas Maksvytis. After 28 played minutes FC Kolnyany got a freekick which was hit by Sikstas Poškus. Arnoldas Badauskas, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Plaschken FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vaidotas Augutis came free, but Laimutis Majauskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC Kolnyany's Martynas Varanauskas got control of the ball when Evaldas Mikalajūnas tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Vaidotas Augutis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Kolnyany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Plaschken FC the free kick. After 43 played minutes FC Kolnyany got a freekick which was hit by Algimantas Jaugėla. Martynas Varanauskas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Plaschken FC's Arūnas Diržys shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After the first half FC Kolnyany were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Algimantas Jaugėla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Laimutis Majauskas managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when FC Kolnyany's Algimantas Jaugėla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Kolnyany were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Plaschken FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Algimantas Jaugėla took the corner. The corner led FC Kolnyany's Algimantas Jaugėla to fire away a dangerous shot which Laimutis Majauskas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 63 minutes into the game, Plaschken FC's Arūnas Diržys nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martynas Varanauskas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. FC Kolnyany's Martynas Varanauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaldas Mikalajūnas in the 67th minute of play. Martynas Varanauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rimas Taujanskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laimutis Majauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algimantas Jaugėla, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. FC Kolnyany were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Plaschken FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Algimantas Jaugėla took the corner. The corner ended in Algimantas Jaugėla almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Plaschken FC's Laimutis Majauskas did a great save. After 71 played minutes FC Kolnyany got a freekick which was hit by Vaidotas Augutis. Martynas Varanauskas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnoldas Badauskas went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the FC Kolnyany defense, Evaldas Mikalajūnas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martynas Varanauskas. The FC Kolnyany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martynas Varanauskas should have stopped the shot. Arūnas Diržys struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Martynas Varanauskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plaschken FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arūnas Diržys in the 86th minute of play forced FC Kolnyany's goalkeeper Martynas Varanauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martynas Varanauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaldas Mikalajūnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute.
