The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vismantas Stravinskas during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Vismantas Stravinskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Einaras Imbrasas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gediminas Kunigelis in the 11th minute of play. Linas Kauspadas charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Linas Kauspadas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stasys Trubutis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Pavilkija got a freekick which was hit by Vygantas Vaičius. When Liudvikas Uselis came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Vanagiskiai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liudvikas Uselis couldn't finish the play. After having played for 31 minutes, Redas Andriuškevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gediminas Kunigelis made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Stasys Trubutis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stasys Trubutis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Algirdas Poderis having to interfere. Redas Andriuškevičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Algirdas Poderis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Algirdas Poderis stood somewhat misplaced when Redas Andriuškevičius came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 63 minute. With a little luck, Vanagiskiai's Algirdas Poderis got control of the ball when Redas Andriuškevičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Algirdas Poderis managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Pavilkija's Redas Andriuškevičius fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Stasys Trubutis took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Algirdas Poderis to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Redas Andriuškevičius put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Algirdas Poderis. Audrius Jakus charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Audrius Jakus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Algirdas Poderis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Redas Andriuškevičius in the 85th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Stasys Trubutis fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Algirdas Poderis, passed just outside the right post. Aurelijus Karanauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Algirdas Poderis made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Redas Andriuškevičius sent off a good shot on target. Pavilkija played a much better game than Vanagiskiai and deserved their victory. The Vanagiskiai players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
