Spectators: 7975 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1815, VIP seats: 160) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Redas Andriuškevičius took the kick off in the first half of the match. Romas Ciparis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Redas Andriuškevičius's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stasys Trubutis in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romas Ciparis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klemensas Dambrauskas's late challenge caught a Naujasode FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Klemensas Dambrauskas helped the player get up and apologised. Klemensas Dambrauskas kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Naujasode FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Warrub:s goal. Einaras Imbrasas went to the wrong direction when Gytis Sakalauskas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 16th minute of the match Deimantas Kvietkus sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Einaras Imbrasas skillfully saved the ball. Feliksas Fabijonavičius struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Einaras Imbrasas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warrub. In the 20th minute Klemensas Dambrauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einaras Imbrasas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliksas Fabijonavičius in the 22nd minute of play forced Naujasode FC's goalkeeper Einaras Imbrasas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Naujasode FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gediminas Bričkus hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match Gytis Sakalauskas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Einaras Imbrasas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 26th minute Feliksas Fabijonavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einaras Imbrasas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Stasys Trubutis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Romas Ciparis. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. When Stasys Trubutis came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Naujasode FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stasys Trubutis couldn't finish the play. In the 34th match minute, Naujasode FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelijus Karanauskas to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute of the match, Stasys Trubutis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Romas Ciparis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustas Majauskas was the one to do the kick off. Naujasode FC's Redas Andriuškevičius got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 52 minutes into the game, Naujasode FC's Stasys Trubutis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romas Ciparis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Romas Ciparis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Redas Andriuškevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Naujasode FC's Arūnas Kalasiūnas got a free kick in the 61st minute. Feliksas Fabijonavičius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Einaras Imbrasas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klemensas Dambrauskas hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Warrub's Gvidonas Ambrazas got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stasys Trubutis in the 74th minute of play forced Warrub's goalkeeper Romas Ciparis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78thth minute of the game Stasys Trubutis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Warrub's Romas Ciparis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Warrub getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Gvidonas Ambrazas hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliksas Fabijonavičius got free with Einaras Imbrasas in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 88 played minutes Naujasode FC got a freekick which was hit by Augustas Banys. Einaras Imbrasas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliksas Fabijonavičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After 91 minutes of play Naujasode FC's Vismantas Stravinskas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Vismantas Stravinskas kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Einaras Imbrasas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustas Majauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Warrub players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Naujasode FC.
