The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 16 minutes, Vaidotas Augutis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kolnyany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaidotas Augutis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adas Valionis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Algimantas Jaugėla's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Algimantas Jaugėla in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adas Valionis saved Janioniai from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Janioniai's zone, Anicetas Aputis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adas Valionis came out of the goal and Anicetas Aputis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adas Valionis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vygandas Tamošiūnas in the 22nd minute of the match. Adas Valionis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC Kolnyany's Algimantas Jaugėla shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. 28 minutes into the match, Janioniai's goal looked a bit too open when Algimantas Jaugėla came free, but Adas Valionis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stasys Aleksandravičius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adas Valionis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Algimantas Jaugėla in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Žydrūnas Kalvaitis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kolnyany's supporters rose to their feet, but Žydrūnas Kalvaitis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adas Valionis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adas Valionis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Algimantas Jaugėla's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. With his leg Adas Valionis managed to avoid a goal in the 84thth minute, when FC Kolnyany's Algimantas Jaugėla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adas Valionis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Algimantas Jaugėla's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Faustas Bajorūnas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vaidotas Augutis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FC Kolnyany's Algimantas Jaugėla in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Janioniai's goalie prevented a goal. FC Kolnyany's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
