Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Marijus Domkus started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Svajūnas Bikas got free with Merūnas Bazaras in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Svajūnas Bikas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Apelsin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Marijus Domkus scored to the left of an out of position Merūnas Bazaras, making the score, 1-0. Danas Beniušis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Romas Kimbartas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merūnas Bazaras made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Svajūnas Bikas sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marijus Domkus in the 18th minute of play forced FC Apelsin's goalkeeper Merūnas Bazaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kurkliu's Marijus Domkus got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Svajūnas Bikas lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Merūnas Bazaras. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Marijus Domkus took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Merūnas Bazaras to make any attempt to save it. 31 minutes into the match, Svajūnas Bikas notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Apelsin's Merūnas Bazaras. Merūnas Bazaras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Merūnas Bazaras managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Kurkliu's Svajūnas Bikas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 34th match minute, FC Apelsin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloyzas Sabulis to maneuver through the defense. Aloyzas Sabulis's late challenge caught a Kurkliu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aloyzas Sabulis helped the player get up and apologised. If Marijus Domkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merūnas Bazaras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marijus Domkus, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Danas Beniušis was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes Kurkliu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Danas Beniušis who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kurkliu's goalie and right to Vygandas Vilkas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kurkliu's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Merūnas Bazaras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Gulbinas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marijus Domkus in the 58th minute of play forced FC Apelsin's goalkeeper Merūnas Bazaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Apelsin's Aloyzas Sabulis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rolandas Valionis, made in the 61st minute of the game. In the 62nd minute, Svajūnas Bikas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emilis Domkus struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Merūnas Bazaras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kurkliu. Merūnas Bazaras didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilis Domkus went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Marijus Domkus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merūnas Bazaras having to interfere. Rolandas Valionis took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Merūnas Bazaras. Merūnas Bazaras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Marijus Domkus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merūnas Bazaras having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, FC Apelsin's goal looked a bit too open when Marijus Domkus came free, but Merūnas Bazaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marijus Domkus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Merūnas Bazaras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svajūnas Bikas in the 90th minute of play forced FC Apelsin's goalkeeper Merūnas Bazaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes FC Apelsin got a freekick which was hit by Aloyzas Sabulis. 93 minutes into the match, Kurkliu's Marijus Domkus broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. There was no doubt that Kurkliu were the better team. Kurkliu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
