After 35 minutes of play Eychyunay's Irtautas Apeikis was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 36th minute, Irtautas Apeikis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Vertimai getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Airidas Stankus hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Deividas Rimkus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute Raimondas Liubinskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertas Kukštas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimondas Liubinskas made a kick off. Gražvydas Jakimavičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deividas Rimkus in the 55th minute of play. Emilis Danielius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Albertas Kukštas made a huge save. Deividas Rimkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deividas Rimkus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gražvydas Jakimavičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eychyunay's Albertas Kukštas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilis Danielius in the 67th minute of play. Algimantas Mažeika hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Herkus Kuzminskas kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes in the game, Emilis Danielius fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Albertas Kukštas having to interfere. Albertas Kukštas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimondas Liubinskas in the 87th minute of play. Emilis Danielius struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Albertas Kukštas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vertimai. In the 94th minute, Kristijonas Kairelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vertimai players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
