Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Kurkliu booed when Jeziorosy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ligitas Dilda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match, Laimutis Baravykas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romas Kimbartas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 10th match minute, Jeziorosy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrikas Norvilas to maneuver through the defense. Vėjas Gaubšas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marijus Domkus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Kęstutis Gerdauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kurkliu getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Juozapas Mažeika hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Kurkliu's goal looked a bit too open when Henrikas Norvilas came free, but Romas Kimbartas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laimutis Baravykas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Romas Kimbartas made a huge save. Kurkliu's Vėjas Gaubšas got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romas Kimbartas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrikas Norvilas in the 21st minute of the match. Romas Kimbartas was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Henrikas Norvilas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henrikas Norvilas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Marijus Domkus scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kęstutis Gerdauskas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute Henrikas Norvilas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romas Kimbartas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vėjas Gaubšas charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vėjas Gaubšas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 37 played minutes Kurkliu got a freekick which was hit by Vėjas Gaubšas. If Laimutis Baravykas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laimutis Baravykas got free with Romas Kimbartas in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrikas Norvilas in the 46th minute of play forced Kurkliu's goalkeeper Romas Kimbartas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romas Kimbartas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gytis Dargužas in the 47th minute. After the first half Kurkliu were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henrikas Norvilas was the one to do the kick off. Marius Gulbinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kęstutis Gerdauskas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrikas Norvilas in the 72nd minute of play forced Kurkliu's goalkeeper Romas Kimbartas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 73 in the game by Vėjas Gaubšas from a close distance when the talented Kęstutis Gerdauskas managed to make a qualified save. Jeziorosy's players were relieved. 75 minutes into the match, Kurkliu's Marijus Domkus broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jeziorosy's zone, Vėjas Gaubšas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kęstutis Gerdauskas came out of the goal and Vėjas Gaubšas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Ovidijus Kaščiukaitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kęstutis Gerdauskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marijus Domkus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haroldas Slavinskas's late challenge caught a Kurkliu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldas Slavinskas helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Jeziorosy got a freekick which was hit by Haroldas Slavinskas. 81 minutes into the match, Vėjas Gaubšas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kęstutis Gerdauskas. Jeziorosy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vėjas Gaubšas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Kurkliu's Vėjas Gaubšas got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Vėjas Gaubšas off the ground. After having played for 95 minutes, Laimutis Baravykas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jeziorosy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laimutis Baravykas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 96 minutes of play, Jeziorosy's Henrikas Norvilas made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Romas Kimbartas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Jeziorosy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Kurkliu's performance. The match ended with a win for Kurkliu.
