Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 12th match minute, Berciunai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miglius Kučinskas to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes in the game Paulius Lemežis did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ugnius Jašinskas. Ričardas Papšys could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Merūnas Bazaras made a huge save. FC Apelsin's Merūnas Bazaras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save FC Apelsin from getting a goal against them. Merūnas Bazaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenijus Maksvytis in the 23rd minute of play. FC Apelsin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Paulius Lemežis scored to the left of an out of position Merūnas Bazaras, making the score, 3-1. Jarūnas Maksimavičius's late challenge caught a Berciunai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jarūnas Maksimavičius helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulius Lemežis in the 47th minute of play forced FC Apelsin's goalkeeper Merūnas Bazaras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ričardas Papšys stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 65 played minutes FC Apelsin got a freekick which was hit by Jarūnas Maksimavičius. 66 minutes into the match, FC Apelsin's goal looked a bit too open when Ričardas Papšys came free, but Merūnas Bazaras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulius Lemežis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Merūnas Bazaras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Danas Beniušis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merūnas Bazaras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulius Lemežis in the 72nd minute of play. Merūnas Bazaras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulius Lemežis in the 75th minute of the match. Merūnas Bazaras was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in FC Apelsin's zone, Paulius Lemežis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Merūnas Bazaras came out of the goal and Paulius Lemežis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute Ričardas Papšys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merūnas Bazaras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berciunai walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
