Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Bagenai's Laimonas Šarkauskas in the 7th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Karolis Kubickas was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Paystrys through an amazing save. The supporters of Paystrys booed when Bagenai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eidvilas Zelmikas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Astijus Repeika took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ugnius Kalasauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloyzas Abromavičius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Astijus Repeika read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Ugnius Kalasauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paystrys's supporters rose to their feet, but Ugnius Kalasauskas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astijus Repeika breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute Aloyzas Abromavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astijus Repeika saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astijus Repeika took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eigirdas Petkus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Laimonas Šarkauskas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ugnius Kalasauskas's late challenge caught a Bagenai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ugnius Kalasauskas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Paystrys's Ugnius Kalasauskas got a free kick in the 21st minute. Eigirdas Petkus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aloyzas Abromavičius fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paystrys's protests and gave Aloyzas Abromavičius a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bagenai booed when Paystrys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloyzas Abromavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bagenai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ugnius Kalasauskas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Karolis Kubickas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laimonas Šarkauskas in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bagenai defense, Aloyzas Abromavičius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astijus Repeika. The Bagenai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astijus Repeika should have stopped the shot. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bagenai's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eigirdas Petkus was slow to take the kick. During this time Paystrys's players had a chance to rest. Eigirdas Petkus made a great header on Paystrys's corner, it was just that Bagenai's Astijus Repeika managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Lauras Nainys made the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Astijus Repeika prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Astijus Repeika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aloyzas Abromavičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Paystrys's Ugnius Kalasauskas came free and shot a quick shot against goal 90 minutes in the game, fortunately Astijus Repeika had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The supporters of Paystrys booed when Bagenai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stasys Ragaišis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Paystrys eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
