Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ričardas Papšys kicked off to start the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Raimondas Liubinskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vertimai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimondas Liubinskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute, Ričardas Papšys ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gražvydas Jakimavičius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Airidas Stankus's late challenge caught a Berciunai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Airidas Stankus helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Airidas Stankus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ričardas Papšys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 minutes, Gytis Skablauskas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vertimai and the Berciunai players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dalius Dumskis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilis Danielius in the 15th minute of play. Raimondas Liubinskas took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalius Dumskis. Dalius Dumskis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ugnius Jašinskas's late challenge caught a Vertimai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ugnius Jašinskas helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Berciunai's Ugnius Jašinskas got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilis Danielius in the 28th minute of play forced Berciunai's goalkeeper Dalius Dumskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Emilis Danielius came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Vertimai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilis Danielius couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Berciunai getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Miglius Kučinskas hit a great ball. Gražvydas Jakimavičius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulius Lemežis's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After 41 played minutes Vertimai got a freekick which was hit by Airidas Stankus. Dalius Dumskis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilis Danielius in the 45th minute of play. After 47 played minutes, Vertimai's Aurelijus Baravykas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dalius Dumskis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vertimai reached it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimondas Liubinskas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Berciunai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vismantas Pumputis to maneuver through the defense. Ričardas Papšys struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gražvydas Jakimavičius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Berciunai. Emilis Danielius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalius Dumskis having to interfere. Gražvydas Jakimavičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulius Lemežis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vertimai's Gražvydas Jakimavičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ričardas Papšys in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelijus Baravykas got free with Dalius Dumskis in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vismantas Pumputis kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Vertimai's Emilis Danielius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalius Dumskis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. Emilis Danielius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Dalius Dumskis made a huge save. The Vertimai supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vertimai would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
