Eychyunay's Albertas Kukštas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Eychyunay from getting a goal against them. Almantas Vitkauskas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erikas Gvozdas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Wasteland Rebels defense, Erikas Gvozdas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Almantas Vitkauskas. The Wasteland Rebels fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almantas Vitkauskas should have stopped the shot. If Bronislovas Kubilius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irtautas Apeikis in the 21st minute of play forced Wasteland Rebels's goalkeeper Almantas Vitkauskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Wasteland Rebels getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Arnoldas Andužis hit a great ball. 0-2 became the score in the 25th minute when Deividas Rimkus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Erikas Gvozdas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Eychyunay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erikas Gvozdas couldn't finish the play. Arnoldas Andužis kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Erikas Gvozdas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 minutes, Irtautas Tamošaitis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wasteland Rebels and the Eychyunay players grew even worse after the yellow card.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deividas Rimkus made a kick off. In the 55th minute Bronislovas Kubilius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albertas Kukštas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aras Jasilionis came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Wasteland Rebels fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aras Jasilionis couldn't finish the play. After having played for 58 minutes, Deividas Rimkus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eychyunay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deividas Rimkus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stanislovas Sakalauskas hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Albertas Kukštas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aras Jasilionis, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Eychyunay booed when Wasteland Rebels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aras Jasilionis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
