Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Faustas Rinkevičius kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, FK Medziukai's Sigitas Krasauskas got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 5 played minutes FK Medziukai got a freekick which was hit by Faustas Rinkevičius. Aistis Kuprys blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramūnas Mastavičius having to make a save. After 18 played minutes FK Medziukai got a freekick which was hit by Albertas Avelis. Aistis Kuprys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Ramūnas Mastavičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes FK Medziukai got a freekick which was hit by Drąsutis Balnis. After 27 minutes of play, FK Medziukai's Faustas Rinkevičius made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramūnas Knieža was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FK Medziukai booed when NEMUNAS KAUNAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robertas Nagevičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FK Medziukai's zone, Stanislovas Strielkauskas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramūnas Mastavičius came out of the goal and Stanislovas Strielkauskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the game, Feliksas Galinis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ramūnas Knieža was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stasys Rudys hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Miglius Bitė, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, FK Medziukai's Faustas Rinkevičius got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

A collision led to FK Medziukai getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Simonas Dambrauskas hit a great ball. Aistis Kuprys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanislovas Strielkauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ramūnas Mastavičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramūnas Knieža showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliksas Galinis, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Faustas Rinkevičius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramūnas Knieža. NEMUNAS KAUNAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faustas Rinkevičius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Ramūnas Knieža made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliksas Galinis in the 71st minute of play. Ignas Drazdauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ramūnas Mastavičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustas Rinkevičius succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 89th playminute. After 91 played minutes FK Medziukai got a freekick which was hit by Albertas Avelis. Ramūnas Mastavičius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislovas Strielkauskas in the 94th minute of the match. The FK Medziukai players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
