Spectators: 8583 (Terracing: 6438, Seating: 1974, VIP seats: 171) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edgaras Patamsis took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of NEMUNAS KAUNAS booed when FC LORD-Racing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgaras Patamsis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute Saulius Tulčius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramūnas Knieža saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th match minute, FC LORD-Racing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Sedeni to maneuver through the defense. Osvaldo Sedeni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ramūnas Knieža tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 minutes, Erikas Gražys mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC LORD-Racing and the NEMUNAS KAUNAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Erikas Gražys hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Edgaras Patamsis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramūnas Knieža was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A collision led to NEMUNAS KAUNAS getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Robertas Nagevičius hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the match, FC LORD-Racing's Herkus Dambys broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in NEMUNAS KAUNAS's zone, Osvaldo Sedeni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramūnas Knieža came out of the goal and Osvaldo Sedeni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes NEMUNAS KAUNAS got a freekick which was hit by Stanislovas Strielkauskas. Ramūnas Knieža took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saulius Tulčius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Sedeni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Edgaras Patamsis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramūnas Knieža. That made the score 4-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 40th minute, Henrikas Žemaitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in NEMUNAS KAUNAS's zone, Edgaras Patamsis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramūnas Knieža came out of the goal and Edgaras Patamsis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgaras Patamsis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. FC LORD-Racing's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stanislovas Strielkauskas to strike the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Sedeni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ramūnas Knieža tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The NEMUNAS KAUNAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramūnas Knieža should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Edgaras Patamsis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC LORD-Racing's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgaras Patamsis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramūnas Knieža breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 79th play minutes Edgaras Patamsis shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Ramūnas Knieža and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 83rd minute, Saulius Tulčius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NEMUNAS KAUNAS's Ramūnas Knieža played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgaras Patamsis in the 89th minute of play. Ramūnas Knieža didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgaras Patamsis went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Jonas Grigutis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislovas Strielkauskas in the 94th minute of play. Ignas Drazdauskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Jonas Grigutis made a huge save. The supporters of FC LORD-Racing booed when NEMUNAS KAUNAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robertas Nagevičius didn't get a good kick on the ball.
