Faustas Rinkevičius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Arūnas Riškus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Faustas Rinkevičius sped through Zyple's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arūnas Riškus. The supporters of Zyple booed when FK Medziukai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vygandas Armalas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Valdas Kerbedis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zyple's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Medziukai the free kick. 17 minutes into the game, one of Zyple:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Arūnas Riškus, was totally fooled by FK Medziukai's Miglius Bitė, who 19 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, Zyple's Arūnas Riškus got control of the ball when Faustas Rinkevičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Zigmantas Turauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zyple's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zigmantas Turauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FK Medziukai's Miglius Bitė got a free kick in the 25th minute. Arūnas Riškus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliksas Galinis in the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Zyple's goal looked a bit too open when Faustas Rinkevičius came free, but Arūnas Riškus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Zyple getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Regimantas Čepas hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliksas Galinis in the 42nd minute of play forced Zyple's goalkeeper Arūnas Riškus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustas Rinkevičius's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Arūnas Riškus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Zyple getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Valdas Kerbedis hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, FK Medziukai's Miglius Bitė tried to score from far away in the 45th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustas Rinkevičius to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustas Rinkevičius in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arūnas Riškus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valdas Kerbedis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 58 minutes into the match. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zyple! Arūnas Riškus went to the wrong direction when Miglius Bitė was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Faustas Rinkevičius sped through Zyple's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arūnas Riškus. Miglius Bitė hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After having played for 72 minutes, Irmantas Batura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zyple's supporters crossed their fingers, but Irmantas Batura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vygandas Armalas charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vygandas Armalas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Zyple booed when FK Medziukai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vygandas Armalas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irtautas Navardauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ramūnas Mastavičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramūnas Mastavičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Turauskas in the 79th minute of play. Arūnas Riškus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustas Rinkevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 91st minute Zigmantas Turauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramūnas Mastavičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Zyple got a freekick which was hit by Irtautas Navardauskas. Arūnas Riškus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustas Rinkevičius in the 94th minute of the match. FK Medziukai were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zyple for a fine match.
