After a defensive mix-up in Forest Power's zone, André Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simonas Sutkus came out of the goal and André Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Eugenijus Dališanskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjaminas Zakas hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Renatas Sutkus made a precise shot to the right of Simonas Sutkus. Forest Power's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After 41 minutes, Mantas Borgaila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forest Power and the FK Raudonieji Velniai players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Forest Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mantas Borgaila to maneuver through the defense. After 44 minutes of play, FK Raudonieji Velniai's Rokas Grušnys made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simonas Sutkus was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vygandas Daugirdas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Vygandas Daugirdas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Šarūnas Danaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simonas Sutkus was a little too slow when Renatas Sutkus got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-6. Simonas Sutkus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simonas Sutkus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renatas Sutkus in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Forest Power's Simonas Sutkus got control of the ball when Renatas Sutkus tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Forest Power was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tautvydas Baguckas to maneuver through the defense. Simonas Sutkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Silva in the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Eugenijus Dališanskis notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Forest Power's Simonas Sutkus. Simonas Sutkus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 77th minute, one of Forest Power:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Forest Power. Simonas Sutkus had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Stórólfur Xenopanagos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to FK Raudonieji Velniai getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Otsoko Llaria hit a great ball. After having played for 83 minutes, Eugenijus Dališanskis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Raudonieji Velniai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenijus Dališanskis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FK Raudonieji Velniai's André Silva got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Eugenijus Dališanskis fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Raudonieji Velniai's protests and gave Eugenijus Dališanskis a yellow card for diving instead. Eugenijus Dališanskis hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. FK Raudonieji Velniai's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
