Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5875, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robertas Vertelis kicked off to start the match. In the 21stth minute of the game Adolfas Taujanskas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gayzunay 66's Juozapas Daktaras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oskaras Daknevičius struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Vakaris Damanskas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Gayzunay 66. In the 36th minute of the match, Robertas Vertelis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vakaris Damanskas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 40 played minutes FC Gayzunay 66 got a freekick which was hit by Algimantas Nekrošius. A collision led to Zpoone getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kristijonas Matiušaitis hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Zpoone's goalkeeper Vakaris Damanskas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rimvydas Bunga. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfas Taujanskas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through a series of nice moves, Zpoone's Albertas Karitonas on his own came free in the 52nd minute of the match and shot 1-1 behind a disappointed Juozapas Daktaras. When Artūras Jasinskas fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zpoone's protests and gave Artūras Jasinskas a yellow card for diving instead. Artūras Jasinskas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Adolfas Taujanskas kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albertas Karitonas got free with Juozapas Daktaras in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albertas Karitonas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Gayzunay 66 booed when Zpoone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfas Taujanskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 minutes, Robertas Vertelis made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Zpoone's Vakaris Damanskas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Regimantas Mockevičius during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Regimantas Mockevičius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
