The supporters of Cool House Owls booed when Zyple was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juozapas Bieliauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zyple's Arūnas Riškus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Zyple from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Mark Viduka kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arūnas Riškus. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. The supporters of Cool House Owls booed when Zyple was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zigmantas Turauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rokas Kšanavičiuss short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Arūnas Riškus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 21 minutes, Regimantas Čepas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zyple's supporters crossed their fingers, but Regimantas Čepas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Rokas Kšanavičius was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cool House Owls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zyple the free kick. A collision led to Cool House Owls getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Rokas Kšanavičius hit a great ball. Cool House Owls's Rokas Kšanavičius got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 35 in the game by Mark Viduka from a close distance when the talented Arūnas Riškus managed to make a qualified save. Zyple's players were relieved. Rokas Kšanavičius struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Arūnas Riškus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cool House Owls. In the 38th minute, Zyple's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rokas Kšanavičius fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mark Viduka got free with Arūnas Riškus in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mark Viduka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Irtautas Navardauskas was the one to do the kick off. Arūnas Riškus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robertas Boguckis, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Cool House Owls's Rokas Kšanavičius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arūnas Riškus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jonas Mikšys made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Irtautas Navardauskas sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rokas Kšanavičius in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arūnas Riškus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Zyple's zone, Mark Viduka stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arūnas Riškus came out of the goal and Mark Viduka tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Zyple's Žygimantas Juozapavičius got a free kick in the 77th minute. After 80 minutes, Irmantas Batura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zyple and the Cool House Owls players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Irmantas Batura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 86 minutes, Rokas Kšanavičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
