After 6 minutes, Motiejus Marčiauskas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trukiske and the FC LORD-Racing players grew even worse after the yellow card. 5 minutes into the game, one of Trukiske:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Karolis Dambrauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trukiske's supporters rose to their feet, but Karolis Dambrauskas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Grigutis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rytis Andrijaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvydas Liaugminas, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Herkus Dambys's late challenge caught a Trukiske's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herkus Dambys helped the player get up and apologised. Herkus Dambys kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Trukiske's Jonas Grigutis threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ligitas Ambrasas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonas Grigutis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ligitas Ambrasas in the 19th minute of play. If Saulius Tulčius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arvydas Liaugminas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Rytis Andrijaitis made a huge save. A collision led to Trukiske getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vygantas Paliūnas hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Edgaras Patamsis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Edgaras Patamsis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rytis Andrijaitis was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
