Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Renatas Sutkus took the kick off in the first half of the match. 6 minutes in the game, Regimantas Čepas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Šarūnas Danaitis having to interfere. A collision led to FK Raudonieji Velniai getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Piet Pritama hit a great ball. Irtautas Navardauskas took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Šarūnas Danaitis. Šarūnas Danaitis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Renatas Sutkus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arūnas Riškus having to interfere. FK Raudonieji Velniai's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Irtautas Navardauskas 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. If Regimantas Čepas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Zyple getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Vytautas Jasas hit a great ball. Slavomír Pokora succeeded in the game's 31st minute to get real power on a long shot . Zyple's Arūnas Riškus hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-1! 36 minutes into the match, FK Raudonieji Velniai's goal looked a bit too open when Regimantas Čepas came free, but Šarūnas Danaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irtautas Navardauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Šarūnas Danaitis having to interfere. Regimantas Čepas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Zyple's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Irtautas Navardauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Irtautas Navardauskas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eugenijus Dališanskiss short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Arūnas Riškus to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 59 minutes into the game, Zyple's Irtautas Navardauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Šarūnas Danaitis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Irtautas Navardauskas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Šarūnas Danaitis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Zyple were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after FK Raudonieji Velniai's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Irmantas Batura took the corner. After taking down the ball on Zyple's corner Zigmantas Turauskas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Šarūnas Danaitis quite easily take care of the ball. 65 minutes into the match, FK Raudonieji Velniai's goal looked a bit too open when Irtautas Navardauskas came free, but Šarūnas Danaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renatas Sutkus hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Šarūnas Danaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irtautas Navardauskas in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Renatas Sutkus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FK Raudonieji Velniai's Piet Pritama suffered a concussion in the 83rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Ramūnas Tiškus charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramūnas Tiškus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FK Raudonieji Velniai's Rokas Grušnys was substituted for Piet Pritama. Šarūnas Danaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Regimantas Čepas, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. A collision led to Zyple getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ramūnas Tiškus hit a great ball. Eugenijus Dališanskis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Arūnas Riškus made a huge save. FK Raudonieji Velniai's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
