An unexpectedly hard shot by Algitas Inčiūra in the 17th minute of play forced Forest Power's goalkeeper Simonas Sutkus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Forest Power's goalkeeper Simonas Sutkus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aistis Kuprys. After 20 played minutes Forest Power got a freekick which was hit by Zigmantas Diržys. With a little luck, Forest Power's Simonas Sutkus got control of the ball when Aistis Kuprys tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aistis Kuprys in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simonas Sutkus saved Forest Power from getting behind. Irmantas Zaleckas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramūnas Knieža having to interfere. With a little luck, Forest Power's Simonas Sutkus got control of the ball when Aistis Kuprys tried to sneak it across the goal line. Simonas Sutkus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algitas Inčiūra in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 56th minute, Vygandas Daugirdas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
