When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Doğan Akbudun sped through Palukshchey's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aldas Miknevičius. In the 27th minute, Skirmantas Balinskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eglynas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Danas Orvidas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benediktas Misiulis firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 40th minute Doğan Akbudun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldas Miknevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Palukshchey's goal looked a bit too open when Doğan Akbudun came free, but Aldas Miknevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Palukshchey's zone, Skirmantas Balinskas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daugirdas Kepalas made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Doğan Akbudun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aldas Miknevičius, 0-5. In the 62nd minute, Skirmantas Balinskas made a precise shot to the right of Aldas Miknevičius. Palukshchey's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palukshchey's goalkeeper Aldas Miknevičius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aldas Miknevičius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Eglynas's Doğan Akbudun ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aldas Miknevičius. Aldas Miknevičius yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-10.
