If Lukas Vosylius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eidvilas Astrauskas took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konstantinas Dičiunas. Konstantinas Dičiunas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Augustinas Bišlys hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. A collision led to Viktorija getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Dobilas Apinys hit a great ball. A hard shot by Margiris Baktys from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Konstantinas Dičiunas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Eidvilas Staponkus's late challenge caught a Vainutas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eidvilas Staponkus helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Vainutas FC booed when Viktorija was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eidvilas Staponkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Viktorija's zone, Margiris Baktys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantinas Dičiunas came out of the goal and Margiris Baktys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augustinas Bišlys's late challenge caught a Viktorija's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Konstantinas Dičiunas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justinas Stulgys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braulio Gaur might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vidmantas Jazukevičius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Braulio Gaur ran back to his position shaking his head. Vidmantas Jazukevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Gaur in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Eliodor Tudoran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vidmantas Jazukevičius. Vainutas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliodor Tudoran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Dobromir Wicherek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Vidmantas Jazukevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Viktorija's Eliodor Tudoran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vidmantas Jazukevičius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 35 minutes into the match, Vainutas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Gaur came free, but Vidmantas Jazukevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Viktorija booed when Vainutas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justinas Stulgys didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundas Obrikis in the 36th minute of play forced Vainutas FC's goalkeeper Vidmantas Jazukevičius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Viktorija's Konstantinas Dičiunas got control of the ball when Eidvilas Astrauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vidmantas Jazukevičius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the game, Braulio Gaur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viktorija's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vainutas FC the free kick. Vidmantas Jazukevičius came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Viktorija's Dobromir Wicherek. But to his dismay, Dobromir Wicherek quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 63rd minute of the match Viktorija got a corner. Vainutas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eduardas Sadauskas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Eduardas Sadauskas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vidmantas Jazukevičius quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 67 minutes into the game, Margiris Baktys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
