Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rokas Gegeckas started the match with the kick off. Sikstas Būlis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algitas Zaveckas in the 5th minute of the match. Ovidijus Miknys was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Rokas Gegeckas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rokas Gegeckas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 13th minute Rokas Gegeckas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidijus Miknys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 played minutes Lomeikiskiai got a freekick which was hit by Tauras Mečius. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Algitas Zaveckas in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sikstas Būlis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 played minutes Lieponys got a freekick which was hit by Algitas Zaveckas. Agnius Gerulskis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Lieponys's Gvidas Račas got a free kick in the 29th minute. Ovidijus Miknys stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rokas Gegeckas's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After some careless play in the Lieponys defense, Agnius Gerulskis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ovidijus Miknys. The Lieponys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ovidijus Miknys should have stopped the shot. In the 41st match minute, Lieponys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gvidas Račas to maneuver through the defense. Sikstas Būlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algitas Zaveckas in the 45th minute of play. Agnius Gerulskis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Algitas Zaveckas to make the kick off. Jurgis Barzinskas kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute of the match Feliksas Budnikas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sikstas Būlis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ovidijus Miknys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rokas Gegeckas, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Lomeikiskiai getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Aras Gedrimas hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Lieponys's goal looked a bit too open when Agnius Gerulskis came free, but Ovidijus Miknys reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lomeikiskiai booed when Lieponys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algitas Zaveckas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lieponys's Ovidijus Miknys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rokas Gegeckas in the 70th minute of play. Algitas Zaveckas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sikstas Būlis having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 87th minute when Algitas Zaveckas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Rimvydas Gruodis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sikstas Būlis firmly grabbed it by the left post. 92 minutes into the game, Agnius Gerulskis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lomeikiskiai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lieponys the free kick. The supporters of Lieponys booed when Lomeikiskiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agnius Gerulskis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Lomeikiskiai's goal looked a bit too open when Algitas Zaveckas came free, but Sikstas Būlis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
