In the 9th minute, Jokūbas Ulčinas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adolfas Dervinis. The goal made the score 1-1. With a little luck, Mazuciai FC's Adolfas Dervinis got control of the ball when Herkus Andrikaitis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Adolfas Dervinis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vitoldas Gelažius. In the 27th minute, Herkus Andrikaitis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petras Jasaitis hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Rimas Kačinskas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Taurakiemio's Regimantas Vėlius didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domas Ganusauskas in the 32nd minute of play forced Taurakiemio's goalkeeper Regimantas Vėlius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Mazuciai FC's Rimas Kačinskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Regimantas Vėlius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 36th match minute, Mazuciai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tautvydas Markevičius to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domas Ganusauskas in the 39th minute of play forced Taurakiemio's goalkeeper Regimantas Vėlius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Domas Ganusauskas in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Regimantas Vėlius saved Taurakiemio from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herkus Andrikaitis made a kick off. Rimas Kačinskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Regimantas Vėlius made a huge save. Domas Ganusauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Regimantas Vėlius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Girkantas Turskis in the 55th minute of play. Regimantas Vėlius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rimas Kačinskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute Girkantas Turskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Regimantas Vėlius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Domas Ganusauskas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Regimantas Vėlius made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Rimas Kačinskas sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Taurakiemio's Regimantas Vėlius got control of the ball when Domas Ganusauskas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rimas Kačinskas hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the game, Taurakiemio's Herkus Andrikaitis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Regimantas Vėlius was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Girkantas Turskis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 86 minute of play. Rimas Kačinskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tautvydas Markevičius got free with Regimantas Vėlius in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taurakiemio's Regimantas Vėlius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Taurakiemio from getting a goal against them. Regimantas Vėlius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rimas Kačinskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Domas Ganusauskas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mazuciai FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-7. When the match was over Mazuciai FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Taurakiemio throughout the match.
