Spectators: 8500 (Terracing: 6376, Seating: 1955, VIP seats: 169) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Algirdas Barauskas kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, UNITED Kaunas's Stanislovas Vaitiekus got a free kick in the 5th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klemensas Bazaras got free with Jokūbas Tulčius in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. UNITED Kaunas's Raimondas Kuodys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Algirdas Barauskas in the 13th minute of play. Algirdas Barauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, FBK Dziugin's Jokūbas Tulčius got control of the ball when Klemensas Bazaras tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 23 played minutes FBK Dziugin got a freekick which was hit by Algirdas Barauskas. Klemensas Bazaras came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jokūbas Tulčius could save by the left post. If Juras Dervinis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dinaras Pilipavičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klemensas Bazaras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jokūbas Tulčius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juras Dervinis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Klemensas Bazaras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes of play, FBK Dziugin's Juras Dervinis made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimondas Kuodys was left in no man's land by his defense there! Klemensas Bazaras struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Jokūbas Tulčius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UNITED Kaunas. Algirdas Barauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Raimondas Kuodys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UNITED Kaunas made a substitution. Nedas Buzelis replaced Skirmantas Vainauskas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algirdas Barauskas in the 68th minute of play forced UNITED Kaunas's goalkeeper Raimondas Kuodys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Algirdas Barauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Raimondas Kuodys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the game, Redas Baltūsis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UNITED Kaunas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FBK Dziugin the free kick. Redas Baltūsis kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 81st minute when Klemensas Bazaras elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jokūbas Tulčius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klemensas Bazaras in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, FBK Dziugin's goal looked a bit too open when Kastytis Norkūnas came free, but Jokūbas Tulčius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundas Šernas in the 90th minute of play forced FBK Dziugin's goalkeeper Jokūbas Tulčius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UNITED Kaunas's Klemensas Bazaras got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute of the match, Juras Dervinis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raimondas Kuodys was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. There was no doubt that UNITED Kaunas were the better team. UNITED Kaunas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
