The referee ignored FBK Kukle's protests and gave Linas Kundrotas a yellow card for diving instead. Dušan Ileš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturas Markevicius having to interfere. In the 28th match minute, FBK Kukle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktoras Elsneris to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Skirmantas Barvainis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturas Markevicius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dušan Ileš in the 31st minute of play forced FBK Kukle's goalkeeper Arturas Markevicius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Dovydas Matus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Galaska saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FBK Kukle's Arturas Markevicius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Ileš in the 40th minute of play. The ManUnited LT fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when ManUnited LT's Skirmantas Barvainis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dušan Ileš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturas Markevicius having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dovydas Matus to make the kick off. Arturas Markevicius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dušan Ileš's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. When ManUnited LT's Skirmantas Barvainis in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. At first the shot seemed to be simple for FBK Kukle's Arturas Markevicius to catch but Dušan Ileš was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. If Edgaras Banevicius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ManUnited LT! Ziemowit Galaska went to the wrong direction when Zigmantas Kondrackas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Antonio Cavallucci managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ManUnited LT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Cavallucci was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ManUnited LT's Dušan Ileš got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FBK Kukle's Arturas Markevicius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dušan Ileš in the 85th minute of play. ManUnited LT's Antonio Cavallucci got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Dušan Ileš made a precise shot to the right of Arturas Markevicius. FBK Kukle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Dovydas Matus struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Ziemowit Galaska didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FBK Kukle. Dušan Ileš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturas Markevicius having to interfere.
