Marius Avelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaidotas Dargužas in the 10th minute of play. If Vaidotas Dargužas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 14 played minutes Draustukas got a freekick which was hit by Audrius Ganusauskas. After 26 played minutes ManUnited LT got a freekick which was hit by Aloyzas Vaidžiulis. After having played for 29 minutes, Vaidotas Dargužas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ManUnited LT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaidotas Dargužas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ziemowit Galaska showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaidotas Bagavičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algirdas Vilimavičius in the 35th minute of play forced ManUnited LT's goalkeeper Ziemowit Galaska to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Draustukas getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ovidijus Nenortas hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, ManUnited LT's goal looked a bit too open when Vaidotas Bagavičius came free, but Ziemowit Galaska reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaidotas Dargužas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Marius Avelis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Draustukas booed when ManUnited LT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobilas Abalikšta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonas Lozoraitis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aloyzas Vaidžiulis hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. ManUnited LT's Ziemowit Galaska played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaidotas Bagavičius in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vaidotas Dargužas to make the kick off. ManUnited LT's Dušan Ileš got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vivien Thuault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Draustukas's Marius Avelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaidotas Dargužas in the 55th minute of play. Audrius Ganusauskas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ziemowit Galaska firmly grabbed it by the left post. 58 minutes into the match, ManUnited LT's goalkeeper Ziemowit Galaska had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Audrius Ganusauskas. In the 61st minute Vaidotas Dargužas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Avelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marius Avelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaidotas Dargužas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dušan Ileš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Avelis having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, ManUnited LT's Anatole Louineau seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anatole Louineau the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ManUnited LT protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anatole Louineau had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 83rd minute, one of ManUnited LT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ManUnited LT. Dušan Ileš was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 89th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, ManUnited LT's Dušan Ileš sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marius Avelis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marius Avelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dušan Ileš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
