The tension between the Taurakiemio and the FBK Dziugin players grew even worse after the yellow card. 11 minutes into the game, FBK Dziugin's Algirdas Barauskas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Regimantas Vėlius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Algirdas Barauskas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Regimantas Vėlius came out and tried to block the shot, but Algirdas Barauskas slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 24th minute. After 28 played minutes FBK Dziugin got a freekick which was hit by Vidmantas Gargasas. The referee ignored FBK Dziugin's protests and gave Margiris Aleksandravičius a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FBK Dziugin's Margiris Aleksandravičius got a free kick in the 65th minute. 66 minutes in the game Dainius Zaleckas got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitoldas Gelažius in the 79th minute of play forced FBK Dziugin's goalkeeper Jokūbas Tulčius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Svajūnas Turskis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juras Dervinis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Regimantas Vėlius having to interfere. FBK Dziugin walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
