After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Klemensas Bazaras managed to get in a good position for a shot. UNITED Kaunas's supporters rose to their feet, but Klemensas Bazaras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ziemowit Galaska breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dušan Ileš kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. After some careless play in the ManUnited LT defense, Klemensas Bazaras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ziemowit Galaska. The ManUnited LT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ziemowit Galaska should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, ManUnited LT's Antonio Cavallucci got a free kick in the 20th minute. If Klemensas Bazaras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ManUnited LT's Ziemowit Galaska played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klemensas Bazaras in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind ManUnited LT's goalkeeper Ziemowit Galaska, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Klemensas Bazaras came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the UNITED Kaunas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klemensas Bazaras couldn't finish the play. In the 39th match minute, ManUnited LT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaidotas Dargužas to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st match minute, ManUnited LT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dušan Ileš to maneuver through the defense. ManUnited LT's Ziemowit Galaska played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klemensas Bazaras in the 42nd minute of play.

The wind increased when Klemensas Bazaras made the kick off in the second half. UNITED Kaunas's Redas Baltūsis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Remigiusz Majtyka in the 52 minute of the game. When Klemensas Bazaras came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the UNITED Kaunas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klemensas Bazaras couldn't finish the play. Dušan Ileš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Raimondas Kuodys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Klemensas Bazaras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziemowit Galaska having to interfere. UNITED Kaunas's Dominykas Grigutis was substituted for Aistis Žilevičius. In the 65th match minute, UNITED Kaunas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klemensas Bazaras to maneuver through the defense. Klemensas Bazaras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vykintas Putvinskas's late challenge caught a UNITED Kaunas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vykintas Putvinskas helped the player get up and apologised. Vykintas Putvinskas hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Raimundas Šernas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ziemowit Galaska. ManUnited LT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match, Klemensas Bazaras got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ziemowit Galaska was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, UNITED Kaunas's Redas Baltūsis got a free kick in the 87th minute. UNITED Kaunas played a much better game than ManUnited LT and deserved their victory. The ManUnited LT players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
