A well-hit corner resulted in Renatas Milašius heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 17th minute Vaidotas Bagavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturas Markevicius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute Edgaras Banevicius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Avelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ovidijus Nenortas fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Draustukas's protests and gave Ovidijus Nenortas a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Draustukas got a freekick which was hit by Ovidijus Nenortas. Marius Avelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgaras Banevicius, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With his leg Arturas Markevicius managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Draustukas's Audrius Ganusauskas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Renatas Milašius's late challenge caught a FBK Kukle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renatas Milašius helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Draustukas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FBK Kukle:s goal. Arturas Markevicius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaidotas Bagavičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dovydas Matus to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Zigmantas Kondrackas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Draustukas's Marius Avelis didn't even have to move. In the 59th match minute, FBK Kukle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktoras Elsneris to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute Audrius Ganusauskas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturas Markevicius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vaidotas Bagavičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturas Markevicius having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vaidotas Bagavičius in the 70th minute of play forced FBK Kukle's goalkeeper Arturas Markevicius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Audrius Ganusauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Draustukas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Audrius Ganusauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th minute of the match Zigmantas Kondrackas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marius Avelis skillfully saved the ball. Audrius Ganusauskas took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturas Markevicius. Arturas Markevicius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 88 played minutes Draustukas got a freekick which was hit by Ovidijus Nenortas. In the 94th match minute, Draustukas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonas Lozoraitis to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
