Siemen Vitus succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. After a rather tough play, FC Egydasas's Šarūnas Penkauskas got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th match minute, FC Egydasas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karolis Gilaitis to maneuver through the defense. Zenonas Lukošaitis hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the FC Egydasas defense, Agne Kjellberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundas Sabaliauskas. The FC Egydasas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundas Sabaliauskas should have stopped the shot. After 33 played minutes Skrajojantys Olandai got a freekick which was hit by Stavros Nasiopoulos. In the 38th minute, Stavros Nasiopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juras Svetulevičius to make the kick off. Edmundas Sabaliauskas made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Siemen Vitus sent off a good shot on target. If Stavros Nasiopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Egydasas's Karolis Gilaitis got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Karolis Gilaitis off the ground. A collision led to FC Egydasas getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Karolis Gilaitis hit a great ball. Skrajojantys Olandai's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
