The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Eduardas Balūzis put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of FK Kiškiai:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FK Stackunai:s goal. With a little luck, FK Kiškiai's Naglis Pališaitis got control of the ball when Aistis Jasas tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to FK Kiškiai getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Vaidas Petrulionis hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Aistis Jasas put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Naglis Pališaitis. Dennis Moretta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Naglis Pališaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Naglis Pališaitis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vytaras Bička went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Naglis Pališaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloyzas Geležinis in the 24th minute of the match. If Redas Karbauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dennis Moretta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Naglis Pališaitis made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Aistis Jasas sent off a good shot on target. Evaldas Pakalniškis's late challenge caught a FK Stackunai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evaldas Pakalniškis helped the player get up and apologised. Aistis Jasas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36 minutes of play, FK Stackunai's Šarūnas Jašinskas made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naglis Pališaitis was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to FK Stackunai getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Svajūnas Turskis hit a great ball. Naglis Pališaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aistis Jasas, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donatas Andužis made a kick off. After 54 minutes of play, FK Stackunai's Šarūnas Jašinskas made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Naglis Pališaitis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Naglis Pališaitis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dennis Moretta's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Naglis Pališaitis came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Stackunai's Aistis Jasas. But to his dismay, Aistis Jasas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Naglis Pališaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aistis Jasas in the 65th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aistis Jasas in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naglis Pališaitis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FK Stackunai made a substitution. Dainius Gerdauskas replaced Aistis Jasas. 73 minutes into the match, FK Kiškiai's goal looked a bit too open when Dainius Gerdauskas came free, but Naglis Pališaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FK Stackunai booed when FK Kiškiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardas Jančiulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dainius Gerdauskas in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naglis Pališaitis saved FK Kiškiai from getting behind. Dainius Gerdauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Naglis Pališaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FK Kiškiai's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Donatas Andužis in the 87th minute. The corner led FK Kiškiai's Margiris Tučkus to fire away a dangerous shot which Justinas Opulskis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Dennis Moretta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naglis Pališaitis having to interfere. FK Kiškiai's Naglis Pališaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dainius Gerdauskas in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in FK Kiškiai's zone, Vytaras Bička stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naglis Pališaitis came out of the goal and Vytaras Bička tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
