After a defensive mix-up in FK KURKULIAI's zone, Beržas Dirmeikis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 高骏坚 came out of the goal and Beržas Dirmeikis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, FK KURKULIAI's goal looked a bit too open when Beržas Dirmeikis came free, but 高骏坚 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 高骏坚 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 蒋思弘 in the 42nd minute of the match. Sam-Lucas Denys was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. After the first half FC Druskininkai were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC Druskininkai played a much better game than FK KURKULIAI and deserved their victory. The FK KURKULIAI players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
