Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Darius Pipiras started the match with the kick off. Daugirdas Burneika fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aras Pocevičius having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Saltiniai's Darius Pipiras slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dangiras Labuckas. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. Aras Pocevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svajūnas Petronis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Royal Club Siauliai's Dangiras Labuckas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Pipiras in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Svajūnas Petronis made a precise shot to the right of Aras Pocevičius. Saltiniai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. If Darius Pipiras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Svajūnas Petronis in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aras Pocevičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 25 minutes, Daugirdas Burneika managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Club Siauliai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daugirdas Burneika was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 26th minute, Giedrius Arvazas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 minutes Royal Club Siauliai's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Darius Pipiras who took care of the corner kick. 29 minutes into the game, Svajūnas Petronis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Royal Club Siauliai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saltiniai the free kick. Svajūnas Petronis hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Aras Pocevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daugirdas Burneika in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute Daugirdas Burneika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Pocevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Royal Club Siauliai booed when Saltiniai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vincentas Dačys didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Daugirdas Burneika put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Aras Pocevičius. 37 minutes into the match, Saltiniai's goal looked a bit too open when Daugirdas Burneika came free, but Aras Pocevičius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aras Pocevičius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svajūnas Petronis, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Aras Pocevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svajūnas Petronis in the 42nd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Saltiniai's Aras Pocevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daugirdas Burneika in the 51st minute of play. Dangiras Labuckas came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Saltiniai's Vladas Tamkus. But to his dismay, Vladas Tamkus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After 63 played minutes Royal Club Siauliai got a freekick which was hit by Marijus Bložė. Rokas Genčiauskas hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saltiniai's zone, Daugirdas Burneika stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aras Pocevičius came out of the goal and Daugirdas Burneika tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Royal Club Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Vladas Tamkus came free, but Dangiras Labuckas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Daugirdas Burneika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Pocevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Svajūnas Petronis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. In the 81st minute, Svajūnas Petronis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes Saltiniai got a freekick which was hit by Narūnas Barzinskas. Saltiniai's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
