The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Vytaras Želvys managed to get in a good position for a shot. LFK Spyris's supporters rose to their feet, but Vytaras Želvys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dangiras Labuckas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Royal Club Siauliai getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Juozas Marčiauskas hit a great ball. Dangiras Labuckas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilijus Zabulis, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jonas Mikuckis scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dangiras Labuckas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonas Mikuckis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Dangiras Labuckas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute of the match, Svajūnas Petronis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Konstantinas Malevičius was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 23rd minute Royal Club Siauliai were awarded a corner. Juozas Marčiauskas went to the cornerflag to take it. Juozas Marčiauskas made a great header on Royal Club Siauliai's corner, it was just that LFK Spyris's Konstantinas Malevičius managed to reach the ball for a save. Dangiras Labuckas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldas Alvinskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldas Alvinskas might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dangiras Labuckas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldas Alvinskas ran back to his position shaking his head. Virgilijus Zabulis scored 0-2 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dangiras Labuckas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Jonas Mikuckis notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Royal Club Siauliai's Dangiras Labuckas. Dangiras Labuckas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dangiras Labuckas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Mikuckis went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Jonas Mikuckis's late challenge caught a Royal Club Siauliai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Mikuckis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LFK Spyris getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Jonas Mikuckis hit a great ball. Konstantinas Malevičius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Svajūnas Petronis in the 47th minute.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldas Alvinskas got free with Dangiras Labuckas in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Royal Club Siauliai's Dangiras Labuckas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Royal Club Siauliai from getting a goal against them. Dangiras Labuckas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Mikuckis in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Vytaras Želvys made a precise shot to the right of Dangiras Labuckas. Royal Club Siauliai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Aldas Alvinskas might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dangiras Labuckas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vytaras Želvys in the 63rd minute of play forced Royal Club Siauliai's goalkeeper Dangiras Labuckas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svajūnas Petronis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konstantinas Malevičius having to interfere. Dangiras Labuckas made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Aldas Alvinskas sent off a good shot on target. Royal Club Siauliai's Dangiras Labuckas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Royal Club Siauliai from getting a goal against them. In the 78th match minute, LFK Spyris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldas Alvinskas to maneuver through the defense. Aldas Alvinskas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dangiras Labuckas came out and tried to block the shot, but Aldas Alvinskas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 81st minute. Vytaras Želvys struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Dangiras Labuckas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LFK Spyris. Vytaras Želvys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of LFK Spyris booed when Royal Club Siauliai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marijus Bložė didn't get a good kick on the ball. The score was 0-9 after a penalty in the 91st minute, where LFK Spyris:s Arminas Ambrazas tricked Royal Club Siauliai:s Dangiras Labuckas with a difficult ball by the left post.
