Tomas Tolvaiša could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Vismantas Niauronis made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Vilkenai's goalkeeper Vismantas Niauronis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Tolvaiša. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Vismantas Niauronis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to FK Alytis getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Vygandas Paškevičius hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Hubertas Miežys's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladas Martinaitis was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Vismantas Niauronis was a little too slow when Rokas Pranys got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. With his leg Vismantas Niauronis managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when FK Alytis's Tomas Tolvaiša fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Rokas Pranys had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Tomas Tolvaiša put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vismantas Niauronis. Vismantas Niauronis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
