Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Harsh Gods's Tomas Lain started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Vilkenai got a freekick which was hit by Eugenijus Jazukevičius. In the 3rd minute Tomas Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vismantas Niauronis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Lain in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vismantas Niauronis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vilkenai's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roberto Carlos was slow to take the kick. During this time Harsh Gods's players had a chance to rest. In the 13th minute, Jogaila Makauskas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vismantas Niauronis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 22 played minutes Vilkenai got a freekick which was hit by Eugenijus Jazukevičius. Tomas Lain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute Tomas Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vismantas Niauronis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 30 minutes Vilkenai's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roberto Carlos who took care of the corner kick. But to his dismay, Tomas Lain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. The supporters of Harsh Gods booed when Vilkenai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liudas Pocius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Harsh Gods were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liudas Pocius to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Tomas Lain dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vismantas Niauronis, 0-9. 57 minutes in the game, Tomas Lain fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vismantas Niauronis having to interfere. Vilkenai's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Tomas Lain scored to the left of an out of position Vismantas Niauronis, making the score, 0-10. Vismantas Niauronis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vilkenai's goalkeeper Vismantas Niauronis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Octavio Froylan scored 0-13 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vismantas Niauronis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomas Lain received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vismantas Niauronis came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Lain slotted it home off the left post making it 0-14 in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jogaila Makauskas in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vismantas Niauronis saved Vilkenai from getting behind. Tomas Lain received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vismantas Niauronis came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Lain slotted it home off the left post making it 0-15 in the 79th minute. In the last second Vismantas Niauronis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tomas Lain in the 82ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 88th minute, Harsh Gods's Tomas Lain dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-17. When Valentas Zapalskis fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vilkenai's protests and gave Valentas Zapalskis a yellow card for diving instead. Valentas Zapalskis hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Tomas Lain who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Vismantas Niauronis when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
