Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hubertas Miežys in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dangiras Labuckas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dangiras Labuckas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albertas Augys's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. When Royal Club Siauliai's Daugirdas Burneika in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vilkenai's goalie prevented a goal. Vismantas Niauronis made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Svajūnas Petronis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daugirdas Burneika in the 24th minute of play forced Vilkenai's goalkeeper Vismantas Niauronis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Albertas Augys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dangiras Labuckas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubertas Miežys struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Dangiras Labuckas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vilkenai. After 35 played minutes Vilkenai got a freekick which was hit by Oskaras Lanauskas. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Svajūnas Petronis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eigirdas Damušis hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Juozas Marčiauskas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vismantas Niauronis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 41 minutes into the game, Svajūnas Petronis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Vismantas Niauronis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, Hubertas Miežys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Vilkenai's Albertas Augys got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jotautas Diršė received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dangiras Labuckas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Svajūnas Petronis might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vismantas Niauronis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Svajūnas Petronis ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Vilkenai getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Hubertas Miežys hit a great ball. Vilkenai were furious when Bronius Sutkus was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 80th minute, one of Vilkenai:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vilkenai. The referee gave Royal Club Siauliai a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Juozas Marčiauskas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vilkenai's Vismantas Niauronis. 4-0. Dangiras Labuckas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertas Augys in the 86th minute of play. Marijus Bložė hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Albertas Augys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilkenai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albertas Augys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Svajūnas Petronis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
