FC KOMETA's Gwidon Majerowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save FC KOMETA from getting a goal against them. FK Alytis's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Erikas Klastaitis in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Tolvaiša got free with Gwidon Majerowicz in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gwidon Majerowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rokas Pranys's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, Robertas Aponavičius left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC KOMETA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Tomas Tolvaiša's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gwidon Majerowicz firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vladas Martinaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robertas Aponavičius in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laimonas Alminas in the 25th minute of play forced FK Alytis's goalkeeper Vladas Martinaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, FC KOMETA's Gwidon Majerowicz got control of the ball when Vygandas Paškevičius tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vladas Martinaitis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hubertas Kaščiukaitis went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Haroldas Dauskurdas hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Rokas Pranys received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gwidon Majerowicz came out and tried to block the shot, but Rokas Pranys slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 41st minute.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robertas Aponavičius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
