After having played for 12 minutes, Deividas Butkus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Scuderia Ferrari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Deividas Butkus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjaminas Eigirdas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vincentas Dačys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Agnius Stuburas put in a rough tackle. Benjaminas Eigirdas had in the 25thth minute some difficulties stopping Darius Pipiras's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Benjaminas Eigirdas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vincentas Dačys, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. FC Scuderia Ferrari's Benjaminas Eigirdas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Pipiras in the 30th minute of play. If Gabrielius Juknevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ričardas Karalius hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincentas Dačys in the 36th minute of play forced FC Scuderia Ferrari's goalkeeper Benjaminas Eigirdas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A long shot from Valdas Ivanauskas in the 42nd minute of play was well struck, but Aras Pocevičius made a really good save at the right post. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darius Pipiras made a kick off. Vladas Tamkus charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladas Tamkus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, Darius Pipiras ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjaminas Eigirdas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Gabrielius Juknevičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Scuderia Ferrari's zone, Darius Pipiras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjaminas Eigirdas came out of the goal and Darius Pipiras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vladas Tamkus got free with Benjaminas Eigirdas in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute, Ričardas Karalius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Vincentas Dačys dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benjaminas Eigirdas, 1-2. Benjaminas Eigirdas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darius Pipiras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjaminas Eigirdas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Saltiniai players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented FC Scuderia Ferrari from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
