The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Liudas Pocius to make the kick off. If Nerijus Užpalis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Vilkenai's goal looked a bit too open when Nerijus Užpalis came free, but Vismantas Niauronis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vilkenai's zone, Nerijus Užpalis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vismantas Niauronis came out of the goal and Nerijus Užpalis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nerijus Užpalis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Arvydas Voveris managed to get in a good position for a shot. FBK Radailiai's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvydas Voveris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vismantas Niauronis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vismantas Niauronis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nerijus Užpalis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arvydas Voveris got free with Vismantas Niauronis in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vismantas Niauronis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nerijus Užpalis in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Vilkenai booed when FBK Radailiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arvydas Voveris didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vilkenai's Oskaras Lanauskas got a free kick in the 90th minute. Vismantas Niauronis was a little too slow when Ligitas Motiekaitis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-4. FBK Radailiai played a much better game than Vilkenai and deserved their victory. The Vilkenai players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
