Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Darius Pipiras kicked off to start the match. Saltiniai's Aras Pocevičius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaidas Maciulevičius in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Saúl Gentiletti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Pocevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Saúl Gentiletti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aras Pocevičius was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saúl Gentiletti in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aras Pocevičius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute, Saúl Gentiletti made a precise shot to the right of Aras Pocevičius. Saltiniai's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, FC Žalia Giria's Vaidas Maciulevičius nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aras Pocevičius made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saúl Gentiletti in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aras Pocevičius saved Saltiniai from getting behind. In the 30th minute Saúl Gentiletti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aras Pocevičius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rokas Genčiauskas hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Saúl Gentiletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aras Pocevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hikmet Lebib kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. FC Žalia Giria's Adolfo Carrizo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save FC Žalia Giria from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the game, Vakaris Satkus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saltiniai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Žalia Giria the free kick. FC Žalia Giria's Titas Rapalis was substituted for Ramūnas Lipskis. The supporters of FC Žalia Giria booed when Saltiniai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vakaris Satkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Žalia Giria's Adolfo Carrizo got control of the ball when Vincentas Dačys tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saúl Gentiletti made a kick off. In the 56th minute, FC Žalia Giria's Vaidas Maciulevičius dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Adolfo Carrizo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladas Tamkus's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Vakaris Satkus hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes FC Žalia Giria got a freekick which was hit by Vaidas Maciulevičius. Narūnas Barzinskas kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. FC Žalia Giria's Adolfo Carrizo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Pipiras in the 73rd minute of play. Saltiniai's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Darius Pipiras in the 74th minute.
