Konstantinas Malevičius came out of the goal and Vytaras Gendvila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldas Alvinskas kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Rokas Simutis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldas Alvinskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. LFK Spyris's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Giedrius Domeika in the 33rd minute. After taking down the ball on LFK Spyris's corner Arminas Ambrazas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rokas Simutis quite easily take care of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, FBK Radailiai's goal looked a bit too open when Aldas Alvinskas came free, but Rokas Simutis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aldas Alvinskas in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rokas Simutis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ligitas Motiekaitis during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rokas Simutis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilijus Zabulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arvydas Voveris made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aldas Alvinskas got free with Rokas Simutis in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute, Arvydas Voveris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Konstantinas Malevičius was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in LFK Spyris fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! LFK Spyris:s Konstantinas Malevičius showed great skill when he stopped Nerijus Užpalis:s penalty. After a rather tough play, LFK Spyris's Arminas Ambrazas got a free kick in the 57th minute. The supporters of LFK Spyris booed when FBK Radailiai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauras Mečius didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilijus Zabulis in the 59th minute of play forced FBK Radailiai's goalkeeper Rokas Simutis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 95 minutes into the match, Jonas Mikuckis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rokas Simutis. FBK Radailiai's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Mikuckis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.
