FK Centras's Hubertas Pumputis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ligitas Indila in the 5th minute of play. Ligitas Indila succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Sipeliai's goal looked a bit too open when Eurelijus Stanaitis came free, but Daugirdas Kurtinaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, FK Centras's Eurelijus Stanaitis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vaidotas Raubickas scored 3-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hubertas Pumputis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vaidotas Raubickas to make the kick off. Hubertas Pumputis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ligitas Indila in the 55th minute of the match. Eurelijus Stanaitis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Vaidotas Raubickas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sipeliai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Vilmantas Sakalauskas might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daugirdas Kurtinaitis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vilmantas Sakalauskas ran back to his position shaking his head. Eurelijus Stanaitis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daugirdas Kurtinaitis having to interfere. The supporters of Sipeliai booed when FK Centras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenonas Mamkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hubertas Pumputis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adomas Nenortas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Ligitas Indila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sipeliai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ligitas Indila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sipeliai's Daugirdas Kurtinaitis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Sipeliai from getting a goal against them. Ligitas Indila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Sipeliai players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
