The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5thth minute of the game Dovydas Aleknius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FK Didvieciai's Albinas Sabulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 6th minute Borys Weyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albinas Sabulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albinas Sabulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dovydas Aleknius in the 12th minute of the match. Albinas Sabulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Weyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Gytis Remeikis came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leonas Mažeika could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Motiejus Dalangauskas in the 20th minute of play forced Wolves's goalkeeper Leonas Mažeika to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arnas Užkuraitis came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Wolves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnas Užkuraitis couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnas Užkuraitis in the 26th minute of play forced FK Didvieciai's goalkeeper Albinas Sabulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, FK Didvieciai's goal looked a bit too open when Arnas Užkuraitis came free, but Albinas Sabulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dovydas Aleknius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albinas Sabulis having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolás Roche in the 33rd minute of play forced FK Didvieciai's goalkeeper Albinas Sabulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolás Roche took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albinas Sabulis. Albinas Sabulis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 40 minutes into the match, FK Didvieciai's goal looked a bit too open when Kasım Uluer came free, but Albinas Sabulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albinas Sabulis came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Wolves's Dovydas Aleknius. But to his dismay, Dovydas Aleknius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. FK Didvieciai's Albinas Sabulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolás Roche in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Wolves were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnas Užkuraitis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nicolás Roche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wolves's Leonas Mažeika played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarūnas Gimbutas in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, FK Didvieciai's goalkeeper Albinas Sabulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnas Užkuraitis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnas Užkuraitis in the 62nd minute of play forced FK Didvieciai's goalkeeper Albinas Sabulis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, FK Didvieciai's goalkeeper Albinas Sabulis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnas Užkuraitis. FK Didvieciai's Albinas Sabulis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FK Didvieciai from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FK Didvieciai's Albinas Sabulis got control of the ball when Dacian Socoriceanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albinas Sabulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás Roche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, FK Didvieciai's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolás Roche came free, but Albinas Sabulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Wolves's Nicolás Roche made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albinas Sabulis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dovydas Aleknius came free with the goalkeeper in the 79th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Albinas Sabulis could save by the left post. When Wolves's Arnas Užkuraitis in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Didvieciai's goalie prevented a goal. Leonas Mažeika showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Motiejus Dalangauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A hard shot by Dovydas Aleknius from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Albinas Sabulis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Motiejus Dalangauskas took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonas Mažeika. Leonas Mažeika dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The Wolves players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
