Spectators: 9175 (Terracing: 6883, Seating: 2110, VIP seats: 182) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Zenonas Mamkus made the kick off which started today's match. After 4 minutes, Arvydas Augutis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Centras and the Sporting Klapeida players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes FK Centras got a freekick which was hit by Arvydas Augutis. Sporting Klapeida's Leocadio Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Ignas Rudys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Eligijus Gruodis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubertas Pumputis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hubertas Pumputis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigitas Makūnas, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Klapeida's goalkeeper Armin Barberio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Sporting Klapeida got a freekick which was hit by Marijus Pučinksas. After 21 minutes of play, Sporting Klapeida's Sigitas Makūnas made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hubertas Pumputis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Irmantas Lavickas might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hubertas Pumputis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Irmantas Lavickas ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Zenonas Mamkus kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armin Barberio. That made the score 1-1 in the 30 minute of play. After 37 played minutes FK Centras got a freekick which was hit by Kristupas Kaveckas. In the 39th minute, Adas Laumakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, FK Centras's Vilmantas Sakalauskas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 42nd minute, Eurelijus Stanaitis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sporting Klapeida's Armin Barberio didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Sporting Klapeida's Irmantas Lavickas got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sigitas Makūnas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Sporting Klapeida's goal looked a bit too open when Zenonas Mamkus came free, but Armin Barberio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Irmantas Lavickas hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Adas Laumakis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Zenonas Mamkus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vilmantas Sakalauskas during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 60th match minute, FK Centras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilmantas Sakalauskas to maneuver through the defense. Sigitas Makūnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Hubertas Pumputis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Eligijus Gruodis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hubertas Pumputis made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Eligijus Gruodis sent off a good shot on target. Kristupas Kaveckas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sporting Klapeida booed when FK Centras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zenonas Mamkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute, Kristupas Kaveckas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristupas Kaveckas charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristupas Kaveckas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, FK Centras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristupas Kaveckas to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th match minute, Sporting Klapeida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irmantas Lavickas to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sporting Klapeida players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
