The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Algirdas Žukauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FK Didvieciai's zone, Irmantas Lavickas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albinas Sabulis came out of the goal and Irmantas Lavickas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 19th minute, Motiejus Dalangauskas made a precise shot to the right of Armin Barberio. Sporting Klapeida's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Motiejus Dalangauskas took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Armin Barberio to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 26 minutes, Motiejus Dalangauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Didvieciai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Motiejus Dalangauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armin Barberio came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Didvieciai's Motiejus Dalangauskas. But to his dismay, Motiejus Dalangauskas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gytis Remeikis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Armin Barberio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jarūnas Gimbutas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Armin Barberio made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Jarūnas Gimbutas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giedrius Utkevičius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armin Barberio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Giedrius Utkevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FK Didvieciai booed when Sporting Klapeida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Irmantas Lavickas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, FK Didvieciai's Motiejus Dalangauskas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0.

Armin Barberio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarūnas Gimbutas couldn't finish the play. FK Didvieciai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giedrius Utkevičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Sporting Klapeida's goal looked a bit too open when Motiejus Dalangauskas came free, but Armin Barberio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gytis Remeikis in the 85th minute of play forced Sporting Klapeida's goalkeeper Armin Barberio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Motiejus Dalangauskas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Armin Barberio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Sporting Klapeida booed when FK Didvieciai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarūnas Gimbutas didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that FK Didvieciai were the better team. FK Didvieciai's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
