When Adomas Nenortas came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Sipeliai fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adomas Nenortas couldn't finish the play. Daugirdas Kurtinaitis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zenonas Mamkus went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 31 minutes, Zenonas Mamkus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Centras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zenonas Mamkus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Zenonas Mamkus managed to get in a good position for a shot. FK Centras's supporters rose to their feet, but Zenonas Mamkus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daugirdas Kurtinaitis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Sipeliai's zone, Kristupas Kaveckas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daugirdas Kurtinaitis came out of the goal and Kristupas Kaveckas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zenonas Mamkus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daugirdas Kurtinaitis having to interfere. Daugirdas Kurtinaitis made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Zenonas Mamkus sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ligitas Indila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daugirdas Kurtinaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenonas Mamkus in the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Ligitas Indila was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sipeliai's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Centras the free kick. Zenonas Mamkus charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Daugirdas Kurtinaitis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Centras. If Zenonas Mamkus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sipeliai booed when FK Centras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristupas Kaveckas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sipeliai's Gvidonas Bartkus got a free kick in the 75th minute. Adomas Nenortas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Hubertas Pumputis made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Sipeliai's goal looked a bit too open when Vilmantas Sakalauskas came free, but Daugirdas Kurtinaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daugirdas Kurtinaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristupas Kaveckas, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Zenonas Mamkus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
