In the 10th minute Artemio Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Quiroga in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute FC Pegasas Siauliai were awarded a corner. Miromir Bilicki went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Artemio Quiroga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enrique Mazza was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When Ernestas Alvinskas fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Pegasas Siauliai's protests and gave Ernestas Alvinskas a yellow card for diving instead. Ernestas Alvinskas kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. A collision led to FC Pegasas Siauliai getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Miromir Bilicki hit a great ball. FC Karamba's Enrique Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Quiroga in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luís Zanette in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pavel Romanescu saved FC Pegasas Siauliai from getting behind. André Luís Zanette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Pavel Romanescu made a huge save. If Artemio Quiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Karamba's Enrique Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Quiroga in the 47th minute of play. After the first half FC Pegasas Siauliai were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miltos Kotsovolos to strike the kick off in the second half. Rimvydas Andrašiūnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Pavel Romanescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ernestas Alvinskas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, FC Karamba's Albinas Matūzas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pavel Romanescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Artemio Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The FC Pegasas Siauliai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pavel Romanescu should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Artemio Quiroga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miromir Bilicki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Mazza having to interfere.
